hola gang,

long time no activity... everyone must be ridiculously busy with the end of the semester in sight.

we've got registration on Monday and I'm putting together an independent study on non-western literature (basically nothing from Europe of the US). I'm not really concerned with the time period; I'm just insanely sick of this Euro-centric literary education I've gotten in my academic career thus far so time to do some thing about it.

Recommend as many books as you can from essentially Latin America/Africa/Asia/the Pacific.

Thanks, guys!

if they don't have to be novels, i have some suggestions. these books are first and second-hand historical books of the eastern religions

'Wandering on the Way' (Daoist/Taoist literature)
'The Buddhist Tradition

well...guess thats all for now, but i have more at home, i've just forgotten the titles to them.
hope all is well,
kenny
